My Current Hobby
August 4, 2020
Recently I have been learning how to make bread, and I've had a lot of fun on the way. For months, my mom had been talking
about buying a bread machine. Since being quarantined, we finally decided to buy one, and it is now my second favorite
kitchen appliance, following our air fryer. The picture above is of the first loaf I created. I think it came out well
because, I was able to find a good recipe on Youtube. Although the bread machine does the hardwork by kneading and
baking the dough, finding the right recipe was just as important. Since my first loaf, I've made about 10+ more for my family
and aunt. The positive responses I've received pushes me to continue this hobby. I plan on trying out other recipes and
making more bread for others.
Why I enjoy Traveling
August 4, 2020
Traveling the world is something I plan on doing for the rest of my life. So far, I've been to Texas, Indiana, Maryland,
West Virginia, and England. Of the trips I've taken, I spent the most time in England. The eleven hour flight,
with a layover in France consisted of me sleeping, eating, and watching movies. During my three week trip, I visited family,
went to museums, tried various foods, shopped, rode trains, and more. My time in England made me realize that traveling
had a special place in my heart. The luxury of learning one's culture by visiting their country is far greater
than sitting at home and reading books about it. Thus, having the ability to travel often will play role in the college
I decide to go to and in the career field I choose. Since I see traaveling more as a hobby than a job, I think it will allow
me to appreciate the experiences more.
